The Investment Management Department (IMD) is established with the aim of directing and funneling financial resources for investment development, identifying opportunities for domestic and international investment, reviewing strategies for boosting domestic and international ventures and ways to attract and provide investment facilities and financial resources from institutions and organizations, ensuring effective investments in the field of the activities of the National Iranian Oil Products Refining and Distribution Company (NIORDC) in accordance with the development policies and strategies while monitoring the development and coordination of NIORDC's international relations department with international organizations active in the fields of refining, transmission and distribution of petroleum products. The department has two main bureaus and divisions:

1- Bureau of Resource Examination and Development of Investment Opportunities

2- Bureau of Credit Assessment and Partnership Affairs

3- Division of Financial Resources Supply, Institutional Design Affairs and Financial Instruments

4- Division for Identification and Introduction of Investment Opportunities Unit
