Iran Petrol, Diesel Meet Global Standard
TEHRAN (NIORDC) __ The First Vice President said: "The petrol and diesel consumed in the country meet international standards."
According to Shana, quoting fvpresident.ir, First Vice President"s website, Eshaq Jahangiri said on Saturday that air pollution is a serious concern on which scattered work has been done, adding: "Today, the petrol and diesel consumed in the country have world standards, in a way that under the sanctions on petroleum products to Iran, especially petrol, they have their loyal customers because the items meet the standards and are of high quality."
The First Vice President stated: "There are problems in the auto industry,... but production of pollutant automobiles have stopped in the country."
Jahangiri said: "All organs should close ranks in the face of air pollution in the capital and metropolises of the country."
Tehran is wrestling with serious air pollution for which various items including production of low-quality engines and pollutant industries are considered.
